What a great weekend! It was so nice to finally get some free time to be able to sleep in until 11 both Saturday AND Sunday (that never seems to happen for me anymore). I felt really refreshed... until Monday morning rolled around and it was time to go back to work. Then I felt sick... psychosomatic, perhaps?
After I woke up I started watching a zombie comedy movie called Fido. I am a huge fan of zombie movies but I prefer scary ones. I really liked this movie though. Basically it's about zombies who have been domesticated to be service workers and once Timmy's family finally gets their own zombie named Fido, Fido does some bad, bad things and hilarity/tragedy/revenge/heartbreak/heartwarming moments ensue. Yeah, it was good. Definitely different from the normal formula.
Saturday night J and I went out to the Melting Pot fondue restaurant for the first time. It's a place I've always wanted to try but we don't have one close to our house. So a little over an hours drive later... there we were waiting for our table. The atmosphere was perfect for couples I thought and couples (or groups of couples) were basically all we saw coming in and going while we were waiting. I'm a big fan of dipping food in sauce so this fondue thing was great for me. Although, I will say it was a lot of work cooking all the food because there was so much of it. The best part was the chocolate peanut butter dessert fondue. Oooh, baby!
