I love Vegas

So, the girls and I went out to Las Vegas in honor of our 30th birthdays. Three out of four of us have hit or will hit (me) the big 3-0 this year. We had a good time.

We did the Titanic artifact exhibit which was really neat. I was most fascinated by the difference in the social classes and the amenities they were offered. It was very interesting to see items like dishes, sink handles and luggage tags and how well they were preserved.

We also saw Cirque Du Soleil - Mystere. This was my first Cirque experience and it was pretty amazing. I swear, I want to join one of these shows so bad.

We had dinner at Emeril's N.O. Fish House which was excellent. We also ate at Trevi and a really good Thai restaurant but I can't remember the name. I saw fresh Krispy Kreme's being made but didn't get one. I stopped at Starbucks quite a bit because they were absolutely everywhere (not that I minded).

We also went to the Comedy Stop and saw three different comedians. This was a good time. All three of the comedians were funny.

We also did all the normal stuff like ride the roller coaster on top of the hotel, M&Ms world, the fountains, the volcano, the mall with the gondola rides, the Shark Reef, the Lion Habitat, watched the Sirens of TI, ventured through most of the hotels and walked about 500 miles the whole time we were there.

I really like Las Vegas. There seems to be so much to do there within one 4 mile stretch of road which is amazing to me. There are still a lot of things that I want to see and do so maybe next time I go, I can scratch a few things off my list. I still want to see Mamma Mia!, a few more Cirque shows, Bette Midler, Celine, Carrot Top and the Hoover Dam and other stuff like that.

I am still tired from my trip though. It seems like however long you stay out there, you need that many days plus maybe more in order to recover.
